How to Save a Lifeを翻訳してみた

お気に入りの曲なので我流に翻訳してみました。

How to Save a Life by: The Fray

（Frayは争いとかほつれという意味）

Step one, you say we need to talk　まず君が言う、話があると。

He walks, you say sit down it’s just a talk　

彼は行こうとする、君は言う、座って、ちょっと話すだけだと。

He smiles politely back at you　彼は丁寧に微笑み返す

You stare politely right on through　君は丁寧にじっと見つめる

Some sort of window to your right　右側に窓

As he goes left, and you stay right　彼は左へ行き、君は右に残る

Between the lines of fear and blame　恐れと呵責の間で

You begin to wonder why you came　君はどうしてこうなったのだろうと思い始める

Where did I go wrong?　どこで間違ったのか

切ない歌詞。”君”は死んでしまったのかな。

Gray's Anatomyでよく流れるし、シーズン7のエピソード18（カリーが瀕死の事故にあった話でミュージカルバージョンの回）でに出演者が皆で歌っていたのがまた印象的。
